Coldharbour Air began after our founder spent a summer fixing other people's botched installations across South London, units fitted with the wrong refrigerant charge, pipe runs left unlagged, drains that emptied straight onto a downstairs neighbour's balcony. The frustration wasn't the work itself, it was how often customers had paid full price for a job that was never finished properly in the first place.
We built the business around a simple idea: every engineer we send out is F-Gas certified, every part comes from a manufacturer-approved source rather than a grey-market supplier, and every job gets tested before anyone signs off on it. No unit leaves our hands running on guesswork.
Pricing is agreed in writing before work starts, payment is settled directly with us once you're satisfied, and if something we've fitted plays up within 30 days, we come back and sort it. No call centre, no third-party dispatcher, just the person who did the work.

Fixed Written Quote
You get a price in writing after the survey, before any work starts, so there's no surprise figure on the invoice.
Named Engineer Sent
You're told the engineer's name and contact number ahead of the visit, not a random van turning up.
Public Liability Cover
Every job is covered under our public liability insurance for your peace of mind while work is on site.
F-Gas Registered Team
Only certified engineers handle refrigerant, in line with UK F-Gas Regulations.
Punctual Time Slots
We keep to the arrival window we give you and message ahead if the previous job runs long.
Local London Knowledge
From Victorian conversions to new-build offices, we know which buildings need extra care with pipe runs and wall fixings.
Straight Pricing
The quote you agree to is the number on the invoice. If circumstances change on site, we talk to you before doing anything extra.
Named Accountability
You always know which engineer is coming and can call him directly if there's a question once the job's done.
Proper Testing
We don't call a job finished until it's been tested through a full cycle, not just switched on and left running.
How We Keep the Standard Up
Every engineer completes a written checklist covering pressure, airflow and drainage before a job is marked finished. We also call back within a week of larger installations just to check nothing's changed once the unit's been running properly.
